Studies of Condyuit’s distinctive star nose detect a similar make-up as presolar grains, ancient metals dating back to before the creation of the sun. Its nose can detect galactic events such as meteor showers, as well as seismic activity. The creature is highly radioactive internally, but suppresses this radiation when in contact with most creatures. However, it can direct this power against an opponent if required. An unstoppable digger, Condyuit are able to tunnel below oceans and re-appear months later in other nations.

Prowl is a solitary, nocturnal creature. When in flight, it uses the moon as a navigation source as well as a measure of depth perception. As a result, they are essentially blind during the day. They attempt to avoid fire-type creatures, as their adversaries’ ability to produce light confuses them, often inadvertantly drawing them closer. It is pictured here displaying its wings in an attempt to ward off enemies.

Scruffote is the elusive evolution of Cubote. Their evolution is tied to lunar cycles and takes place only during a total lunar eclipse. Following this initial exposure, the change takes place over many years, requiring repeat exposure to partial eclipses. During these times it is reported that the creature momentarily levitates. These claims, and many like it, are tied to the extensive mystic lore that surrounds the creature. If one manages to sight a Scruffote in the wild, it is believed the onlooker will be blessed with good luck until the next eclipse.

Kappling is the infant form of Kappadee. Kappling’s wings are entirely non-functional and the creature appears to have no capacity for communication with other creatures. Another shortcoming is that Kappling only possesses a single offensive maneuver. Curiously, it is a psychic attack, an ability that is not carried through to its advanced form. The drawback is the attack immediately exhausts Kappling, but not before the colossal burst of psychic energy incapacitates its opponent.

Unlike many psychic creatures, the physiology of Cerebob is well-documented due to their docile nature. Cerebob’s bobber can quickly disperse huge bursts of psychic energy, abruptly incapacitating even the largest opponents. Aside from its destructible capabilities, the bobber is also used for communication, as it emits electrical impulses that can only be sensed by other Cerebob. Similarly, the creature’s beak is electroreceptive, allowing them to sense the presence and movement of nearby creatures, detecting even the smallest electrical impulses caused by muscle movement.

Cerebob are openly hostile towards electric type creatures, as their ambient energy interferes with Cerebob’s electrical communications.

Cygnical has defied evolution since prehistoric times. When in deep concentration, its psychic energy can interfere with the visual perception of surrounding creatures and humans, rendering itself invisible. Its diminutive size notwithstanding, the ancient Cygnical will assault the mind of anything that comes into the water surrounding its nest.

Skalaxy [17 of 151]

Moonstripe evolves into Skalaxy when exposed to a lunar eclipse. Like its predecessor, it is a psychic type, but in its advanced state it can use these abilities accurately predict the orbits of the planets. Due to its reliability as a galactic map, Skalaxy often finds itself as a pet for astronomers.

Moonstripe [15 of 151]

Moonstripe are rather elusive creatures, emerging only at night. It uses the guard hairs atop its tail as a touch aid in climbing. The markings of the creature allow it to blend in amongst the treetops as if it were stars.

Flystar [13 of 151]

Often mistaken for a shooting star, the Flystar can’t actually fly at all. It simply glides from tree to tree, but its small size creates the illusion he is further away. As it is a psychic type, many believe Flystars can hear the wishes children make when it passes overhead.
