Studies of Condyuit’s distinctive star nose detect a similar make-up as presolar grains, ancient metals dating back to before the creation of the sun. Its nose can detect galactic events such as meteor showers, as well as seismic activity. The creature is highly radioactive internally, but suppresses this radiation when in contact with most creatures. However, it can direct this power against an opponent if required. An unstoppable digger, Condyuit are able to tunnel below oceans and re-appear months later in other nations.

Craus is a rare land-dwelling creature, covered in grass that camouflages its thorax. Born on sand, the creatures wander away from the ocean to make its home in fields. The iconic dwellings that appear on their back are the products of the most ingenious Puug, whom choose Craus as a home due to its warmth. These dwellings, and the creatures who live within, also serve to protect Craus in battle.

Earthkin is the infant form of Earthine. Earthkin are not often sighted as they find shelter under their giant Earthine parents. Born during Earthine’s underground hibernation period, the creature matures in the earth, grazing on the grass that drapes down from its parents thick, grassy coats. When they finally emerge, its parents are fiercely protective. Wise farmers dare not approach the creature until maturation.

Cubote spend their days in quiet solitude, lounging in tall trees. Growing restless at night, they begin to roam, seeking out potential pack members. Cubote have only been known to call to others under the light of the moon, giving rise to the superstition that the moon itself gives it the power to speak.

Tuskseed evolves into Squashog following a particularly robust hibernation period. If the creature burrows into fertile dirt and remains there long enough, it absorbs nutrients that become the basis for its rugged,  protective shell. It’s flowery ears and leafy nose are the most vulnerable part of this otherwise near indestructible beast.

Earthine are frequently domesticated creatures, particularly sought after for their grassy wool. During the rainy seasons, Earthine remains entirely still, sinking into the ground slowly, where it will hibernate for the winter. Its emergence from this slumber can be rather alarming to nearby creatures and is often mistaken for an earthquake.

Cramster may appear to be a rather hungry fellow, but his cheek pouches are not full of food! Cramsters mostly chews on rocks to hone the flat, clamping teeth they use to dig tunnels through tree roots and rocks. Cramster’s teeth are always growing in height and width, so they spend up to 8 hours a day shaping them.

Dustfluff [10 of 151]

Dustfluff’s appearance has evolved to disguise it from its primary predator, the snake-like creature Charming. Its primary defense mechanism is rolling in the dirt to create camouflaging dust clouds. It then protrudes its Charming lookalike ears to confuse and intimidate its pursuers. It also uses the dust to bathe.
