Peskane, the evolution of Pesky, is limited in speed compared to its pre-evolution Pesky. This is made up for in strength, particularly in its retractable claws. Peskane also utilises its tail to quickly propel itself out of the water, allowing the creature to surprise and attack nearby enemies on land and in the air.

You may have noticed a lack of updates on Capture Creatures lately! We’ve been hard at work on preparing the print release of Tiny Kitten Teeth, the online comic we’ve been working on for over three years. We’ve also been making a number of comic convention appearances in Seattle, New York and Toronto (as well as another couple coming up in Vancouver and Chicago)!

Regular updates to Capture Creatures will resume in two weeks! Don’t worry, we will definitely be catching up, so you won’t miss out on any creatures in the long run!

Toveawhile is a cold-blooded creature that spends most of its time sunning itself on riverbanks. In evolves at an advanced age it takes on a more elongated appearance. Although peaceful, Toveawhile utilises its heavy tail as a clubbing weapon and swimming aid. The bubbles it crafts also create a loud sonic attack upon impact.

Tidalpole evolves from the starter creature Tabbypole in its teenage years. At this point the dust patches on its back begin to solidify, creating earthy armor plates. Its tail flattens and begins articulate, allowing it to be used as a weapon. This tail also contributes to its ability to manipulate nearby bodies of water and their tides.

Fjorca’s powerful fin easily passes through ice floes and glaciers. During a migratory period, an adult Fjorca can change the entire climate of a region with its icy fin. Fjorca mostly restrict themselves to arctic regions to avoid the risk of thawing its fin and exposing it to airborne predators.

Peskys body neither has the scales of an amphibious creature nor the fur of a feline, instead it is covered in downy feathers more akin to an avian infant. Despite its appearance as part fish, its tail acts more like a paddle than a rudder, limiting its movement. Peskys meows also act as sonar.

Paletile communicate through art. Their brush is crafted from the shedded antlers of the Budu and the moulted hair of Scottness. A particularly social creature, Paletile often paints upon other creatures. When painted upon by a Paletile, the appearance of Capaphant alters dramatically and it’s believed they become more powerful.

Leaferrier evolves into Scottness after extended periods in the ocean. Once the animal completely takes to the ocean, it begins to absorb water, increasing its size and its leafy exterior begins to take on the consistency of sea-weed. Land-dwelling creatures ride on Scottness’ back as a means of sea travel.
