Pinkgolin’s primary strength is its bark-like shell on its back. The creature can thoroughly flatten its body against a tree, entrenching itself  with its claws. Its attacks often involve it landing on an opposing creature, bark-side down, from great heights. Pinkgolin feeds on ripe pinecones once they fall to the forest floor, which causes its bark to harden and darken, gradually covering the rest of its otherwise vulnerable body. If removed from its natural habitat, it rarely evolves.
